New Year, New Administration, New Supreme Court

Changes in political leadership in Washington, DC, typically result in some level of change in education policies and priorities at the Department of Education and on Capitol Hill. The change from the Obama administration to the Trump administration resulted in seismic shifts in both tone and action. Similarly, the Biden administration is expected to dramatically alter the priorities and focus of higher education policymaking. This comes on the heels of the COVID-19 epidemic, an unprecedented, disruptive event for higher education that is still being played out.
